A year ago, I was ‘rallied’, together with some friends from Andros, for the opening of the summer theatre of the Chora. Together we enjoyed the experience of the first Festival of Andros. With the participation of important artists and the cultural resources of the island, I think that we succeeded in making the open-air theatre the cultural meeting place of August for all of us.

This year, the events are starting earlier, lasting from mid-July until the first days of September. We have decided to host more theatrical performances, music concerts and dance performances.

I want to thank the various artists who offered to visit us.
I believe that these cultural meetings bring us closer to each other.

Today, there is a paramount need to be inspired by our art and to love this beautiful small country even more.
